Art in the Park
September 5, 2020 @ 10:00 am - 3:30 pm
It’s a bonus weekend! Come watch, not one, but two Colorado artists demonstrate their talents.
Bee Peper from Amber Antiquities will be showcasing new jewelry designs for 2020 featuring amber & turquoise in hammered sterling silver. Bee’s knowledge & passion for amber started in estate jewelry auctions/sales & those vintage styles have filtered over into current Amber Antiquities designs. Bee enjoys amber so much she has been invited to participate in lectures with antique & auction house groups discussing the different types of amber, regions that they come from, amber folklore & beliefs in the gems healing properties. She can answer your questions concerning liquidating your own estate jewelry.
Marilyn Turner from Gracie’s Nest has been sewing for over thirty years. Being a retired kindergarten teacher, Marilyn enjoys creating outfits for the American Dolls. Sturdy, handmade clothing matched with adorable shoes & accessories is Marilyn’s specialty along with quilts and embroidered patchwork pillows. Specialized orders of quilts or stitcheries are always welcome.
