Sunday, September 6th, Strousse Park in Georgetown (6th & Rose St.) will be featuring artist Melissa Lycan from 1:30-3:30pm. Melissa is the artist responsible for the musical and artistic stylings of Nordic Daughter. She has been painting for several years and blends her talents with acrylic paint and the Viking drinking horns that are sold at her shows to create works of art that are also functional. Each piece can hold up 350-550 ml of liquid and doubles as a beautiful conversation piece. In addition she will display canvas works available for individual sale.
