The town of Georgetown is happy to announce the extension of our annual Christmas tree program. To prevent the spread of wildfires, specific trees must be removed from designated areas. To aid in the effort the Town partners with Clear Creek Fire Authority to offer the opportunity to cut down your very own Christmas Tree!

$30.00 per tree **unlimited quantity but must provide receipt per tree.

Bring your own tools, and prepare for an approximately 1/2 mile walk to your chosen tree. Some trees will be flagged with a clear indication to collect, if not, please follow best practices – clustered trees, older trees, etc. Most Trees are Douglas Fir and vary in size.

DO NOT CHOP PORTIONS OF TREES. This leaves kindling behind for the next fire. Please remove the WHOLE tree and adjust the size later.
