Amy Rose Scott and the Schoolboys for the Georgetown Mountain Jams Free Concert Series – Plein Air – Georgetown Historic Home Tour
July 29 @ 12:00 pm - 3:30 pm| Free
Mountain Jams is thrilled to present Amy Rose Scott and The Schoolboys as part of our free, outdoor concert series beginning solo at 12:00pm and joined by The Schoolboys from 2:00 to 3:30 for a full day of great music!
Amy Rose Scott is an Acoustic Folk Musician who has toured nationally with bands and has played as a Solo Artist throughout Colorado since moving to the mountains in 2012. She began singing at the age of 4 years old, using a hairbrush as a microphone, along to her Patsy Cline records. As an interpreter of songs, she enjoys arranging music in her own unique style with her signature Folk/Country sound. Her biggest desire is to bring Love, Joy and Healing to the world through her voice. Her passion for using music as a healing force led her to study Therapeutic Music at The Music For Healing And Transition Program and she played music for patients as Therapeutic Musician Intern at St. Anthony Summit Hospital from 2018-2020. Amy has been featured on the cover of The Clear Creek Courant and is the proud recipient of 2021 Idaho Springs Best of Live Music. She currently resides in her beloved Mountain town of Georgetown, CO with her Husband Jacob (her Production Manager and Sound Engineer) and her loveable but naughty Fur Baby Flash!
Founded in 2004 from the Denver Waldorf School community, The Schoolboys are a group of friends: men and women who love playing together. We are a six-piece rock and pop cover band with vocal harmonies as our forte. Today’s instrumentation includes vocals, two guitars, keyboards, bass and drums.
